Kendall County, IL | I’m try to connect a Raven dry controller to a 2630 using a field doc cable for documentation purposes. This controller is not an option on the 2630 so I’m running it as a 440 which is an option. As a result, the 2630 is trying to use my speed cal of 615 as part of machine width in addition to actual spread width which is set in the console as 60’. Also, the 2630 is using the “valve 2 cal” of 53 as rate 1. If I set the Raven console to Rate 2 it will accurately display a correct rate in 2630. It’s as if the 2630 takes the info from Raven console but reads the data from one button to the right (layman’s terms).
I realize the communication is one way with this setup so everything on the Raven side will work fine and I can spread as is but I would like to get it set correctly for documentation. Can this be done or is this Raven console too much of an oddball? I know nothing about data strings but it seems like that is the part that needs to be changed/adjusted?
