Subject: Hydraulic capacity for electric drives

ncia
I plan to upgrade my 1770NT 16 row to agleader electric drives. I plant with a John Deere 8310. Rated hydraulic capacity is 30 gpm. My planter is not central fill. I will have the 2 vac fans running and the raise lower function and will have a hydraulic driven alternator to run electric drives. Will I have enough hydraulic flow to run everything and not be operating “on the edge”? I have the option to upgrade the 8310 to the higher capacity pump from John Deere.
