Subject: Drain in front of building

SW Ohio
I recently built a 40x96x16 pole barn and left one side open for easy access. I didn't quite make enough of a swale in front of the building and now when it rains hard I get water inside the building. How can I put a drain in that won't get crushed by equipment going in and out? I was thinking a 4" perforated tile backfilled with gravel to act like a french drain, but wasn't sure what type of gravel to use and if it would withstand the traffic. Open to suggestions
