Subject: Big rains starting to end?

Nw Iowa
We are starting to miss some rains and forecast amount much less than previous which would be normal for July. Next week after Monday shows very little moisture. We would welcome a good drying out but just wonder what everybody seeing for a forecast? Went to a Snodgrass presentation in March and he said there was a pretty good chance for a later summer drought. Have no idea but normally when these big rain events end, they end or weather tends to average, wet spring, dry fall. It won’t make much difference to us as crop is so beat up and far behind and shallow rooted fed crop is our friend this year.
