Hickory NC | Just looking at the news, talks with friends and crop insurance. Likely from Mn, Wis, Iowa, Virginia NC,SC, and Ga and Alabama a loss in the NE of 200 mil bushels and 150 mil bushels in the southeast. It puts more strain on the SE because physical corn is needed for hogs, chickens and Cattle for feed. Do we see a market response to losing almost a half billion bushels or do we just see a local basis spike to move grain where it’s needed?
