Subject: 4020 powershift early model

Went and started to cut hay with tractor and the pto seemed to have a whine to it when under load guess I never really paid attention to it but when I bought this tractor supposedly it was restored and gone threw the tractor use to pull a 15 ft batwing from guy I bought it from said he never had problems. With it. I got it and the hydraulics were real chattery and the shift were real slow , I pulled the filters and their was big amount of metal shavings like fillings not chunks the secondary filter wasn’t all that bad , but I put new filters in and the line oil pressure gauge shot up to full pressure tractor ran and drove way better, my concern is if something major is happening in transmission I would suspect that it would of failed majorly cause I’ve used it since running 8ft shredder and haybine cutting hay , tractor has good lube pressure hydraulic wise I’m thinking of pulling filters again to see how bad metal is .
