NE IA | We had our county fair last week and it was my oldest daughters first year in 4H. We bought her a October born fall heifer in February just so she wasnt leading around a spring born calf at the fair her first year. Well she did a heck of a job, I didnt have to do much in the way of feeding it or washing it other than showing her the ropes. She ended up with Supreme Heifer and man am I proud of her. She did a fantastic job for her first time! I wish I would have gotten a better picture but I was too busy helping run the show and she needed to get to riding her horse for the horse show so we only got a couple. First picture is after she got slapped Supreme and I dont think that smile can get much bigger!
