I'd been sitting in the tractor watching that thunderstorm to the East southeast for quite some time. Water in the sprayer ready to go but holding back on the herbicide until the weather settled. It didn't. Suddenly a few drops of rain and then hail. Got to the truck fast as I could knowing I needed to get out of there before the half mile of back road turned to grease. Out ran the storm by a bit and it hadn't yet started at the yard but soon did. I don't know how much. No broken windshield or dents to the old square body but the canola probably took some damage. In crop spraying has been a real challenge this year.
