Anchovies are one step too far for me, LOL.

I have a tin can of good quality anchovies on the shelf for over a year now. Have not got the courage up to eat them yet.

I have a good friend from Copenhagen who loves them. He will actually open a can of sardines and anchovies at the same time. He will get a spoon full of sardine then place an anchovy on top and eat it that way. Back before we became low carb would go out for pizza with him and he always got anchovies on his half of the pizza.

I bought the little tin of anchovies because of him and his insistence of how good they are and are good for me (he is a doctor, retired). But they are still in the can........LOL. Come to think of it, it may have been more like three years ago that I bought them. Maybe they get better with age???  :-)
