Mi | I'm tearing down an old hip roof barn that is beyond repair and building a new barn in its place. The floor and cement walls are excellent. Walls are 8" thick, 3' tall. I'm going to make a holder out of steel for the new 6x6 poles to sit in. What is the best way to fasten the steel holders to the top of the 3' wall? I've always had good luck with cement wedge anchors, but have had a few that cracked cement over time. So I'm thinking there must be something better out there.
