| That’s what I was thinking as well. Some days it would be gone in one day. Lol.
But to answer the OP’s question when we buy large chunks of cheese we vacuum seal some and it keeps the same as in the original unopened package. For any cheese though, including the opened portion, I try my best to not actually touch the cheese itself nor any packaging that will later come in contact with the cheese. I have often noticed that the areas where someone touched the cheese is where the mold starts from. I assume it’s from bacterial contamination. | |
