Being you are from Iowa the state is quite restrictive. Here is a link. https://cfah.org/iowa-marijuana-laws/

Minnesota has just legalized Marijuana, but dispensaries other than medical have not opened up yet.

Technically you can not transport Marijuana into Iowa and it is illegal to take on planes. It has to be consumed in the state where it is legal.

THC is the component that will get you high. Mental impairment is similar to drinking alcohol. People I know on medical Marijuana have shown about as much impairment as drinking two beers. Usually no impairment is found at proper dosages.

The person I know was forced to quit employment after 6 back surgeries. After getting on the Medical Marijuana, she has been able to go back to a full time job since it does a far superior job in reducing pain.

I call bull! Once weed was legalized in Michigan my off farm employer sent out a reminder. We still test random, you get tested it will show and you will be terminated. Plain and simple your friend isn’t working anywhere that tests. I seen it several times come back off medical you magically get drawn for a “random” drug test.
