I would never ever boil sweetcorn with husks on,,unless you grew it and knew what if any chem applications are on the husks.It is almost always one day to harvest on chems approved for sweetcorn as no one eats the husk,,boil it and you are eating the husk and any applications..yum,,hehehhe
