East of Broken Bow | If securing from the top going down into the wall in a situation where moisture might be present, epoxy will prevent water from getting down in the hole, and freezing. Done right, epoxy will be as strong or stronger than anything else you can use.
If moisture isn't a problem, anchor bolts with the strike pin would be my choice. You can drill down through the bottom sill into the concrete with some of the modern concrete bits, blow out the dust, and set the bolt without having to move/remove anything to set the bolt, and pretty much zero wait time. Epoxy needs to set up before you put any load on it. | |
