Welcome to the club.  We have four Jersey girls, all in production but only milking three.  We use a Surge belly milker just because it's easier and guaranteed to keep the milk clean.   There's nothing better than raw milk, and next will come the butter and cheese.

And another thing to remember, there's an acronym  among family cow owners called CALPC, which stands for "Cows Are Like Potato Chips".  You won't have just one.   Hopefully you're old enough to get the meaning.  You'll have another one soon,  they always do.

Enjoy, that's a nice looking Jersey.   Are you leaving the calf on and milking as needed?   That's what we do.
