SW Wisconsin | My great grandfather was born in 1879, my dad and his brother are both kicking. At 63 my dad could stand to lose a few pounds, but he's in good enough shape that another 20+ years wouldn't be at all surprising. On my dad's side his mom was 42 when he was born, but on my mom's side her grandmother was only 14 when her dad was born. My grandmother was slightly oldr than my great grandmother (December 1917 vs February 1919). My dad has a decent chance of being alive 160 years after his grandfather was born, no particular reason my youngest sister might not make it another 70 years to 90, 176 years after her grandmother was born. | |
