Down here in the Dutch oriented grocery stores fresh pork belly is common. But instead of a big slab of belly like in the US it is usually in a rolled configuration that is then sliced about a quarter inch thick. Kind of resembles rolled up extremely thick bacon. But of course uncured.
Wife gets it probably once a week. Either bakes or fries it up with a slight outer crispness.
Sometimes as a side dish to some beef dish.
Very tasty and good. Definitely high fat content.
