You can brown the meat in the microwave if you don’t want to use a skillet. I start with a frozen pound of ground deer meat and put it in the microwave for 5 minutes. Break it apart and mix and chop it then 5 more minutes. Mix and chop it up some more then usually 2-5 more minutes to finish it up. Probably wouldn’t take as long if it’s not staying from frozen.
