How does a oven just quit? Just a heating element and switches, my Kenmore is the same age and just replaced the element a couple of times. Wife leaves the oven door part open to broil, steak turns out great.
After learning about this new one, and after causing this new one to get angry by opening the door, I wonder if my steak broiling is what killed my old one. Just started doing it a couple years ago, learned right away the broiler would not stay on if you closed the door, it would get too hot. Go figure.
I hate new things
