Yea I’d agree it’s not very common.
It’s really a practice for years where rain delays harvest and wheat is thin enough it gets grassy weeds in enough to mess up harvest.
I’ve never seen it used as a tool to speed up harvest like is portrayed many times. It’s more of a rescue treatment.
The real concern is what’s been applied to prevent storage pests.
