Possibly but over all cattle are finishing quicker. Also we see more gain on less feed.
20 years ago it took a fall calf to hit 900lbs as a yearling on decent feed. Now we are hitting 900lbs at that June time frame and have to throttle back to hit markets.
These genetics will flat out grow if you give them the groceries to do it.
