Central Minnesota | I do all AI on a small herd. Cows need to be gaining weight or at least on an increasing plane of nutrition in order to get bred. I do rotational grazing and move them at least daily. In addition, I feed them grain in the portable corral for a couple weeks before I start the syncing process. Kind of like how sheep guys “flush” ewes to increase multiple births.
I have room for improvement this has worked pretty well for me. | |
