I've never felt Cidrs were worth the money. A few comments mentioned MGA, it works but is crucial they get a consistent amount during the feed period. Not necessary to pull the calves in my experience.

Here's what I recommend my clients

Gnrh
Wait 7 to 10 days
Lut
Wait 3 days and breed those that show visible signs
Breed the remaining cows with Gnrh

Most my clients get 60 to 70% on this protocol for mature cows, higher for yearling heifers.
