A hospital bill of any kind will cost a lot more than several calves from her. Disposition gets as many culled here as anything. I have 0 tolerance. If she threatens me once when I let her out of the pen she's stepping on a trailer bound for the sale.

I'm only very slightly more tolerant then that, and I mean very slightly. Once a cow figures out they can win they will win every time. I'll put up with a little shortly after birth but they best be backing down within 12 hours, and that challenge best be soft because if I leave a pen she sees a sale barn.

Cows are like women. Too many nice ones in the world to be stuck with a bitch.
