Central Coast, California | It is good to see that you are managing to hold on and grow in Idaho. I think the world of you trying to hand it down to the next generation.
My wife and I have been to Park City a few times. She is friends with a family that has been selling fuel there for generations. When we go around I love checking out all the old ranches hanging on there. I can't imagine the squeeze from all the condos and urbanites.
If it makes you feel any better my the old man who owned the place I live died end of last year. His kids want to keep the ranch but their property taxes are probably going to be 100k/year thanks to new laws about inheritance. This is a ranch that can hold 12 cows no fancy houses, but market value is high due to developers and vineyards. |
