| I love looking at everyone's barns. However no way we could run our cattle though barns to calve. So we spread them out. We run with three other ranches. Families related back into the 1880's. Down checking fences and water today, found a gate got rubbed open, and about 20 head out in wrong feild, put them back and rebuilt gate. Cattle are rubbing bad. Would love to be able to put pour on this time of year. However these cattle only see a corral in fall of the year at weaning & pregnancy check.
The nurse maid cow with all the calves belongs to a distant relative of ICC's on here. We will start branding in two weeks.
Got some needed moisture last night in rain and snow.
