| No Jon, we don't get the wet like you guys do east of the Rockies. I've got great admiration for everyone raising livestock east of the Rockies. I honestly don't know how I could function in an area that receives moisture like you guys do. However with that moisture, you can grow crops to feed great numbers of livestock off fewer acres. My highest density of confined grazing is a stocking rate of say cow per acre for a short duration to calve in during bad weather.
Problems I see with that density of animals I can surely see it compounded ten fold in your high production pastures. | |
