It is what you are willing to pay. I have roughly $7000 avg into my cow bulls and slightly more than half that in my clean up calving ease bulls. My cow bulls probably avg 4 years service and they were mostly coming 2’s when I bought them. My main supplier fully guarantees them through first breeding season. Bulls are a necessary evil of owning cows. There are plenty of places to buy cheaper bulls and fact there are Angus bulls sales every day that no sale their bottom end. I am not interested in that grade of bull.
