No idea why they can't do this in the monitor. 


Say you have a field that's in 3 pieces. Do your external around piece 1. Then add separate interior shapes for pieces 2 and 3. All under the same field. When the boundary is in Op Center you can change the status of the 2 internals to external and you're good. 

You could also map as 3 fields, then merge but that's more hassle I think. Either way it needs to be "fixed" in Op Center by you or dealer or someone.
