Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Since you have Sure Stops, your lead time situation is different than mine. With yours, the disks remain filled but the Sure Stops stop them from turning. That means if you back into a corner you will not have the delay that I mentioned. You do not need to purposely lie about the distance from the hitch to the application point that I do.
Many of the other things we have mentioned would still apply.
My auger tractor has the safety seat deal also. It is fine since the tractor is not moving while running the auger. I need to put the transmission in neutral, set the parking brake and start the tractor WITHOUT sitting in the seat. Then when I engage the PTO by standing on the side, the PTO stays engaged. If I start it by setting on the seat, then engage the PTO it starts running but as soon as I get off the seat it stops. I guess I could try to fool the seat switch but it works fine now that I understand it. |
