Eastern NE KS | I'll go look at my 45 day old calves and see if we can match. I really don't think so. However one of my sires throws calves that are quite easy calving, boned like a deer (spindly). Frankly, they don't look great at birth and it carries on for longer than the normal new born look. Thankfully they grow out of that. Oddball stuff.
If the cow's milk is lacking, you would see a transformation if these dinks were offered creep feed. If they remain dinks, the problem is more than dam's milk. | |
