North Central Alabama | I have a young brood cow with a 3 week old calf. I noticed her struggling to walk. Got to looking and she has a horizional split on her 4 hooves. The split goes all the way around her hoofs. And i can see it opening up when she walks. Not just 1 hoof but all 4. What in the world could have caused this on all 4 hooves? She was deathly sick with a respiratory infection about 3 months ago. Could that have caused it somehow?
