Leesburg, Ohio
Kevin:
First of all, THANK YOU for listening and replying! It is reassuring to me that you (as a Deere corporate employee, I assume) listens and responds! And that Deere allows you to!
Second, sprayer is a 4830 with 90' booms. I think the spacing right now is set on something like 90.25'. I will check, and if possible, it sounds like I should set it to 36 row, 30" spacing?? It really worked fine last year spraying in between corn rows, just have the point row and endrow issues.
Will it set a second endrow guidance line for me to spray a full 180' two-pass set of ends? Or will it still limit ends sprayed to 120' with a 24 row planter creating the original autopath data? Why should it care if my second endrow spray pass extends into the main rows??
Fyi...On advice of our local dealer AMS tech, I just updated the 4640 screen software this morning, and have not sprayed anything with new software yet.
