SW Wisconsin | Had an older cow calve on Saturday 4-27. Monday evening she looked a little down. Tuesday morning ran her in and started her on LA200 and tdn rockets. I was thinking a respiratory issue. Wednesday morning she did not look any better. Had my vet come and deduced toxic mastitis. Started treating 2 quarters, kept with tdn rockets and drenching with warm water and blue lite also citamin b shots. Did that for 2 days. Now Friday and so far today we are doing the quarter treatment, tdn rockets, but she is not drinking any water, but will eat ground shelled corn, grass and clover that my wife picks. How or what can I do to get her to drink on her own? Thanks. | |
