Eastern NE KS | We had 8 rain events since 4/16 ranging from 0.35-1.8". My last small pond is now full like the other 2 larger ponds. We were not hurting for water but it's nice to fill them up because they will stay fresher with overflow.
The small and largest allow cattle access. The third is fenced away with a waterer below the dam. Water is syphoned over the dam. Dad built the system in 2004-6 with a Ritchie fountain. We had to drop the fence and let the access in 2012 due to drought and inlet being above water.
