Central Nebraska | I run FIQ for fertilizer on my planter. Three years ago it started acting up and I thought it was something on my Surefire Tower 110 setup with electric pumps. I checked every connection, eliminated couplers with butt splices, etc, with no luck. It actually got worse to the point we didn't use starter the last 80 acres. I also use FIQ for side dressing 32 and when I hooked it up a few weeks later the system recognized my FIQ module for about 2 minutes and then it went offline. After lots of investigating I determined one of the relays on the harness was bad. I replaced both relays and have had have had no problems since. You can remove the relay harness if you remember to unplug the powell connector when not using the system.....overnight or for a few days. |
