N Central IA | I have a similar sprayer that I used for the first time last year, I run steer command and an Integra. I’ve never really figured out what the icon for all wheel steer on the Integra does, I don’t think it has anything to do with steering, maybe the boom position is correct. As far as all wheel steer I only use that when the crop is large like fungicide spraying. There is a place in the Hagie control where I set the all wheel steer to kick out in second gear like you mentioned then shift down when turning. I tried turning it off and on last year as I was turning by using the Hagie screen it worked well but one more thing to do.
I try to have all wheel steer turned off before engaging the auto steer as it works much better in two wheel steer especially when there is a 120 foot boom swinging around. I wish that the steering could be slowed down once in all wheel steer. | |
