Waldron, MI | I'm having trouble with the swath control on this sprayer setup. JD 4240 display running Hardi Navigator 4000 with 90' booms (six sections) via the ISO VT page and connected to the Hardi Jobcom. Swath control is working ok going into coverage with only slight overlap. Exiting coverage I cannot get the boom to turn on fast enough to avoid skips (approximately 6 feet at 7 mph). I have adjusted timing via the performance tuning page in the 4240 with no success. Problem seems worse with the boom sections on the inside of the turn (for example when heading into a sprayed headland and turning around for the next pass). JD AMS support and Hardi support so far have not been able to correct the problem. I'm sure I'm not the only one with such a setup so am open to any suggestions you all might have. | |
