Mine was ground drive till I converted to hydraulic and that sensor was on the planter when I got it and it’s a 2005. It has SeedStar 2 so I think yours should have it to tell planter and more specifically the seed tube sensors that it’s down and planting.You can look to see if planter harness has a plug that’s not being used for that sensor. At your push button switch make a jumper wire to see if that makes the seed sensors work. Unplug the switch and jump the harness bypassing the switch.
