Feeding my Holstein steers is sort of my happy place. Mixing feed, scrape manure, bed cattle…most days pretty mundane. And I like it that way.
Seems like with crops it’s…too hot, too cold, too wet, too dry. Push to cover acres before weather changes. Equipment breakdowns that leave you frustrated.
The fun part of farming….
