The BIG Problem is Death Loss. I like to buy Small calves and Grow them for a LONG time. I buried 8 one fall, @ $4000.00 at the time, $12,000,00 today. That would be an expensive hit, Probably would bring on a Fred Sanford reaction!! I am raising my home grown cows and calves and watching them graze and Grow. No Antibiotics administered daily.
