| The short answer is probably not. It would mean an interuption in the circle j@$k of turning generations quickly to create higher numbers. Not unlike the show ring, or the manical push for "carcass" traits (which quickly polluted the Angus gene pool with a genetic defect from a useless POS bull) it's all about marketing.
Speaking of dairies, I seem to remember some stuffed suit in the beef industry saying it should look to dairy industry as some sort of business model. Yikes! | |
