| I got the opportunity to rent a good chunk of pasture that was seeded with a grass & alfalfa mix. Not sure on the percentage of each (I’m looking into it), but was told it was a mix made for both pasture and hay.
Is there any risk/anything I need to be aware of grazing a pasture that has SOME alfalfa in it? Cows & Calves will be on it.
It’s a good ways away from my house so i need to be fairly hands off as far as rotations on/off the pastures.
