Silage would be my 1st choice. Balage 2nd. Dry hay 3rd. Be best to run with any of those options starting today if possible.

You’ve probably only got a matter of days that the cows will still graze it. In course forage that’s that tall you are likely to start getting some pinkeye in the calves. That’s been my experience in rank triticale anyway.

Edit to add- I thought frost the pic that grain was developed but after rereading your post it might be better to wait for soft dough to make feed at this point.
