Up or down probably doesn’t matter. IMO what takes buildings from high wind is leaving one set of doors open so air can funnel in but not out. Look at all the rickety 3/4 fallen down hay sheds that stand high winds but a nice new building goes down. Millennial farmer on YouTube was a prime example of this
