SW WI | Guys with stuffers ( holsteins) do you have any numbers of bushels of corn and pellets per head to finish? Cost of your pellets?
Reason I’m asking is I feed TMR. Corn, wet cake, very little hay, some corn silage and mineral. My son has a small group on a stuffer, corn and pellets. We are putting together numbers on each system…..and my TMR version is not cut and dried cheaper than his system. This is without my equipment figured into cost of feeding.
Anyone care to say their ration and cost? Even pointing me to some university trials that show averages would help. Thanks | |
