coast of Maine | MI dairy, my friend "pushbutton" quit dairy a few years back.he had these old bunker silos,like yours.I mentioned ( he transitioned to veg)why not build a greenhouse on top.Came out really super.Ridge vented.It is the tallest greenhouse I have ever been in .Has 16 ft clearance.He uses it for multiple purposes.He then had a smaller one and built a knee wall and trusses,metal clad,equip storage.Those walls are way more sturdy than any traditional concrete as they were designed for severe side pressure from packing silage . | |
