We feed tmr to goats. Haylage, corn silage, dry hay rolled corn protein supp. Currently have some sorghum in the mix which seems to be better than corn silage for their guts. Less starch. Have done forage rye in the past.
TMR and fermented feed Works well for us but it has to be managed closely. Goats are extremely sensitive to Listeria and clostridium bacteria. We were told they are soil borne and not just from mould. So Any dirt in the feed when making it equals problems when feeding it.
