Subject: RE: New pasture fence

Unsure if there is a company making the "no-nonsense" fence. Fiberglass posts and premade corners that are secured with 3 earth augers. Drive them in with cordless impact. Line posts go in with a pound or two. No insulators. Buy the biggest fencer you can afford. 20+ joule. Can be installed with 1 person is the major advantage. If deer aren't a problem they can be a permanent fence.

Materials here are still under $1.50/ft for a 4 strand HT. 4-5" X 8' pounded on 50' centers. Energizer, strainers, insulators, lightning arrestors, crimps, etc. The FSA has payment rates for different types of fence and I use those numbers when I'm in negotiation with landowner. Having fencing equipment has opened doors for securing pasture.
