| I rent a place that I built corners and gates like a 5 wire, a T post every 50 foot. Then stretched a hot wire about waist high and a barbed wire 4 notches below that. I’ve not had any of my mature cows out in 3 years and just a calf out a time or two. Even dumped a pot load of stockers that had never seen a hot fence in there this spring and only had to put one up once the wheat played out. | |
